I don't normally post much of anything on here. I need to mention this on our SMSBL home page. I am honored to lead this Sacramento MSBL. I will never make 100% of the decisions to the satisfaction of all. Last week I had to decide if this league can pay and repair the damage or stop play and ask the city, who owns the park, to repair this damage. With that said, I decided it could be in a political fight of who pays and repairs this. This league is blessed to have professional & skilled people. Our light copper wire was stolen and both fields were damaged. Players like Steve Welch stepped up and replaced all the wiring. Players like Ever Maldonado, Emilio Soltero, helped Steve. Then another very new player, Robert Taylor, offered to donate his expertise and his equipment to install security cameras. So we also now have internet & 24 hr surveillance. There are also players in this league who donated money secretly to help this league improve. This is how the fences have finally have coverage. Special thank you for that goes to Rafael Rubio, Davy Poling and again Ever for installing the covering. Our board member Ron Grizz found and ordered all the coverings. Thank you also to Steve McNeely and Dan Pearson. There are so many others that volunteer throughout this league, too big a list to name everyone. I appreciate all of you. This league is the only league in the country to have its' own home.
Thank you again Sacramento City & Sac State for building this beautiful Army Depot Park.
Thank you all.
